I disegni rappresentano le passioni dell’artista, le sfilate di moda, gli interni e i giardini di case meravigliose , la danza e il balletto classico, i vestiti, personaggi iconici del mondo passato e presente, attori e attrici, stilisti, uomini e donne del mondo contemporaneo.
The drawings represent the passions of the artist like the fashion shows, the interiors and gardens of wonderful houses, dance and classic ballet, the clothes, iconic characters from the past and the present, actors and actresses, designers, men and women of the contemporary world.
Fin da piccolo Matteo si esprime attraverso il disegno creando già i primi figurini, osservatore ed amante del ‘bello’, alimenta questo talento attraverso studi d’Arte e di Architettura al Politecnico di Milano.
Nonostante i suoi studi non siano ancora conclusi viene chiamato da uno studio di Architettura come Interior Designer dove, oltre ad occuparsi dell’abbellimento di interni ed esterni diventerà presto il responsabile dell’immagine coordinata e visiva.
Negli anni ’90 inizia la collaborazione con stilisti affermati dove si cimenterà anche nella progettazione di Vetrine e Showroom. Sono anni importanti per definire nuovi trend e per capire le sue molteplici e multiformi capacità, aspetti che presto lo porteranno a diventare una figura poliedrica nel movimentato mondo della Moda.
Gioca un ruolo importante il contributo di “Home and garden Design” dove Lui e la sorella Caterina possono finalmente unire le loro esperienze per creare qualcosa insieme. Inizia così a collaborare freelance con fotografi e case di moda, dove finalmente è messo a stretto contatto con l’essenza del prodotto in un ambiente internazionale che gli offre l’opportunità di sperimentare diversi e inattesi ruoli professionali. Presto iniziano diverse proposte che lo portano ad occuparsi della collocazione visiva e concettuale delle collezioni nei negozi Multibrand e l’affiancamento ai Clienti degli acquisti in show room diventando così un Buyer e Visual Merchandiser molto apprezzato e richiesto.
Lo spiccato senso estetico e la ricerca attenta e mirata con un’importante componente commerciale e attitudine alle arti grafiche spingono Matteo ad avvicinarsi a nuovi progetti lifestyle legati ad un viaggio straordinario professionle, come questa produzione di disegni che racchiude nella scelta dei soggetti e nel tratto, un percorso estetico ed artistico personale importante.

Since youth, Matteo was a patient watcher of the world, and a studios lover of beauty, expressing himself throught a precocious habit drawing figurative sketches. Later , he pursued these passions through the study of Art and Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano.
Before he had even finished his studies, he was contacted by a prominent architecture studio to work in interior design. He quickly outgrew his initial position, and was promoted to director of art and visuals.
In the mid 1990s, Matteo worked, designing and installing windows and showrooms. This was an inspiring time for Matteo who, during these foundational years for the fashion industry, was finally positioned to explore the wider range of his talents.
When he later joined with Caterina, His Sister, to create Home and Garden Design, Their diversity was united, quite powerfully and quite visibly, in this new fraternal unit. As partners, they were finally able to live out, and execute beautifully, their mother’s conception of taste.
At the same time Matteo continued to work with important photographers and top Fashion Houses. Here, he gained greater familiarity with the product, and a more serious understanding of merchandising. He was soon offered similar positions by multibrand stores, positions which brought him closer to clients, becoming a widely Known and requested Buyer and Visual Merchandiser.
Today, his rigorous Knowledge of commercial fashion is softened and balanced by the love of both aesthetics and craft that have been so essential a part of him since his youth.
This production of drawings contains an important artistic and aesthetic path in the choice of subjects and in the stroke.
